Hello, we’re Alice and we are always in a state of wander.

In 1994 a group of like-minded wanderers joined forces to launch Sputnik Futures to take an overview scan of humanity and the Earth’s possibilities. Thirty years later, Alice in Futureland continues in this orbit with a profound understanding that the heart is connected with what we create for our future. Today, the situations faced by decision-makers are of a wholly different nature. In our economic environment driven by artificial intelligence, the extrapolation of trends and the wisdom of experts are still relevant, but a new methodology is needed to accelerate our human potential. Alice is developing a new future’s model, a new understanding of the structure of humanity’s subtle realm. In the end, the future may well be decided by that which carries the greatest heart.

The Camera Self

The outside world is on the inside

There’s shift in perception taking place inside the headspace of today’s fluid generation. Like all paradigm shifts, society has triggered this turn of events. Tim Leary in the ‘60s called on culture to Turn On, Tune In and Drop Out, and now today culture is being pushed even further to not only question its sense of identity but reality itself.

Is it real or is it fake? It used to be simple. You and I were real, so was the chair and the lamp. Disneyland, plastic and movies: fake. But this outlook has been altered. What is real or what is fake has blurred. As a result, this culture perceives all “images” to be real. Whether they are created in the digital world or found in the natural world. All images are real because they can be experienced, felt and understood. What has become valuable and desirable to this culture is to be sensorially, emotionally, psychologically and mentally engaged.

So how should we define “virtuality?”

In a 360 degree flip, the term “virtuality” from now on is defined as one’s own unique “reality machine.” One’s perception of the world. It is a term to describe one’s personal “Reality” or one’s “Self” or “Soul.” Virtuality is on the inside.
