Cities will be the future in rebuilding our economy. Benjamin Barber (1939 – 2017), an American political theorist spoke with us in 2004, that there is no way that we can deal with health in the setting of one independent nation. He spoke about using cities as the building blocks for a global, cross-border effort to deal with the real interdependent problems society will face.
His wisdom resonates today as we build out of the 2020 pandemic.
Thanks to the Mayors and the Governors who are leading us through and out of this pandemic.
